International Day of People with a Disability 2020.

In partnership with Microsoft

With 4 million Australians living with a disability, it is essential that we create accessible experiences for everyone.

In recognition of International Day of People with a Disability on 3 December 2020, the South Australian Government partnered with Microsoft for the online launch of Microsoft’s Australian Accessibility Portal, Accessibility at work: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/business/accessibility-at-work

Joined by Emmanuele Silanesu, Director Specialist Team, Modern Work and Security at Microsoft, this session featured a series of videos highlighting innovations, tools and services currently available.

Microsoft’s Global Chief Accessibility Officer, Jenny Lay-Flurrie also shared her personal journey, as well as some members of the Microsoft Australia Accessibility Council, as they dived deep into the business case for accessibility.
