ICT and Digital Government hosted an online ‘lunch and learn’ to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).

With 123 registrations and with (at its peak) around 80 attendees, we were joined by:

• Vision Australia’s Charlii Parker, Charlii started with a brief preview of what to look forward to at our next meetup.
• Dr Scott Hollier, the first of our two main presenters, began with an overview of his life journey as a person who is legally blind, his work with W3C and the evolution of assistive technologies.
• Closing off, Microsoft’s Manny Silanesu also provided an overview of his life journey, covered some of the amazing initiatives developed by Microsoft and details on Microsoft’s upcoming accessibility webinar series.
